CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS

Triple Judging Rules

1.         Each Final will be judged by THREE Judges

2.         Each Judge will provide their placings for all competitors

           Points will then be awarded for each set of placings as follows :

            e.g.12 Competitors                              e.g. 7 Competitors

            1st Place 12 Pts                                    1st Place 7 Pts

            2nd Place 11 Pts                                   2nd Place 6 Pts

            12th Place 1 Pt                                     7th Place 1Pt                           

3.         Where a Final  has more than 12 entries (due to ties for last place in the qualification process) the same rule will apply. E.g. 14 entries – 1st place awarded 14 Pts and so on.

4.         Where competitors are disqualified they will still be included for the purpose of establishing points to be awarded to other competitors but they will not receive any points themselves.

5.         In the event of any tied placings in the result. It shall cause referral  to the three Judges decisions in respect of their individual placings.  (Rules 465B[k] Pge 216 and 466B[e]  Pge 217 of the 2009 AQHA Official Handbook of Rules & Regulations) shall be referred to. In all ties the Judge’s decisions shall be final.
