European Championship of American Quarter Horses in Kreuth:
The
3rd
Day of the Performance Class Finals
The
19th European Championship of Quarter Horses ended with the third day
of the finmals in the Performance
shows. So far, we saw the Champions in beautiful Trail and Hunt
Seat Equitation as well as Reining Youth.
It
was Make A Whis with Sara D’Imperio (ITA) who were able to win
three medals: Gold in Senior Trail Open (Score 226.5), Bronze in
Trail Youth and Silver in Hunt Seat Equitation Youth. There was a tie
for the silver medal in Senior Trail Open which ended in favour of
Technical Nat Image and Ben Fisher (SUI). Shesa KC Leaguer and
Annemarie Brieger (AUT) received bronze.
In
Trail Youth, the European Champion was Grays Stormy Olena with Lena
Hofmann (GER). The silver medal was won by Circles Poco and Carolin
Lenz (GER).
The
Hunt Seat Equitation Youth was won by Cee Ed Zip and Caroline Coles
(GBR) who received the third gold medal for Great Britain at this EC.
Lena Noble Mine and Maxi Schmidt (GER) placed third.
The
new European
Champion Hunt Seat Equitation Amateur is CPR Blazin Calla with
Mirjam Giraudini. The mare which was bred by Giraudini Quarter
Horses, Italy, already placed third last year in the Pleasure
Celebration in Kreuth. The silver medal was won by Hes A Natural Kat
and Giulia Malcangio (ITA), the bronze medal by Hints Wimpy Dear and
Fabienne Suter (SUI).
With
a specially beautiful ride, Little Light Flo and 9-year-old
Sophia Wintschnig from Austria became European Champion Reining Youth
thus winning the fourth gold medal for Austria in this show. Alina
Janousch and Mr Fancy Spark won silver, Leonie Fischer and ARC Peppy
Doc received Bronze.
