Europe’s premier Quarter Horse Show, the 19th European Championship of American Quarter Horses, is scheduled for August 16 to 24 this year – again at the beautiful Gut Matheshof facility in Germany. Nowhere else in Europe you can find as many top horses and competitors of various disciplines at one place. Last year, there were more than 530 horses from 18 European nations. Here, competitors have the chance of collecting AQHA points in four AQHA shows at once plus the prestigious medals, buckles and titles.

Six top judges

There are two go rounds plus finals for the European Champions of each disciplines with the exemption of the cattle and halter shows where there will be only two go rounds without finals. The show will be judged by six experienced and well-known judges who already judged the AQHA World Show: Patti Carter, Casey Devitt, Wilma Holcomb, Larry Little, Jeff Mellott and Berleen Pashby.

4 AQHA shows plus finals and Nations Cup

The cattle and halter shows are scheduled for the first week-end (August 16 and 17). The go rounds in the other disciplines will be from Monday to Thursday, the finals being from Friday to Sunday (August 22 to 24). Also, the show management is thinking of organizing a Nations Cup for the first time. More details will follow soon.

No entry fee for visitors

Visitors will enjoy great sport and superb horses without having to pay for it, as entry to the show is free during the whole event.
