11th NRHA Breeders Derby in Kreuth with international reining highlights:

CRI** and first CRI for Young Riders

Rieden/Kreuth (Germany), June 23-29, 2008

The 11th NRHA Breeders Derby at Kreuth offers two further reining highlights this year: there will be the last CRI ** in Germany for competitors from all over Europe and there will be the first CRI for Young Riders in Europe ever (CRIYJ).

The CRI** is the last qualifier in Germany for the World Reining Masters and the last for the German competitors for the first Reining World Championship in Manerbio. The CRI ** is open to all European competitors and is scheduled for Sunday, June 29, and will be the last class of the 2008 NRHA Breeders Derby.

For the first time in Europe: first CRI for young riders
At Kreuth, there will be the first CRI for young and junior riders (CRIYJ). It is open to all European competitors up to the age of 21. The CRIYJ is scheduled for Saturday, June 28, right before the Breeders Derby Finals.

So the 11th NRHA Breeders Derby will be a very special event this year. Besides the CRI and the CRIYJ, it offers the NRHA Breeders Derby classes and lots of other reining classes. Last year, there were 341 horses in the Breeders Derby competing for a total purse of almost EUR 45 000,--. More than 5000 spectators saw the spectacular Breeders Derby finals 2007.

There are two go rounds and a final for the Breeders Derby Champions Non Pro and Open. The first go-round is scheduled for Tuesday, June 25, the second for Friday, June 27. The final will be on Saturday night. The deadline for the Breeders Derby nomination is May 22.
