Advice On Buying A Horse |

 Registered Purebred Horses and those with AQHA Appendix papers can compete in AQHA affiliated shows, AQHA.UK shows and AQHA.UK affiliated shows, WES shows and any open competitions.
Registered Partbred Horses (Section II and III) can compete in AQHA.UK shows, WES Shows and open competition. If you are in need of further advice on show eligibility, please see contacts page.
When viewing a horse, make sure you can catch it, groom it, handle its feet and tack it up before trying it for riding suitability. Reputable vendors should not refuse to allow you to do this. If you are a novice or inexperienced person, try to take a knowledgeable person with you.
Ask to see the horses papers and check that the transfer records are up to date and show the correct current owner. If in doubt this can be verified by checking with the office registration database.
We cannot warrant that any horse or product advertised on this site or in our sales list is as described, or that it will be suitable for your purposes. Further we cannot accept responsibility for any loss which might arise as a result of any misrepresentations made in respect of any horse or product. We strongly recommend that before you buy any horse, you have it properly vetted.

How to Place an AD

The charge to advertise your Pure/Partbred American Quarter Horse for three months on the website and the printed sales list is FREE to current AQHA UK members. Non member rates are £30.00 per horse, wording only. £50.00 per horse, wording & Photo, (50 words approx. limit, special rates 3 or more horses, please enquire).

) Please note, all wording and photos should be sent by email, with the photo as a JPEG image of no more than 72 dpi and should be sent as an attachment rather than embedded in the body of the email.
As a courtesy to buyers would sellers PLEASE notify us when their horse is sold so that it can be removed from the list and prevent many wasted phone calls.
