Advice On Buying A Horse Print E-mail
Before you part with your cashRegistered Purebred Horses and those with AQHA Appendix papers can compete in AQHA affiliated shows, AQHA.UK shows and AQHA.UK affiliated shows, WES shows and any open competitions.
Registered Partbred Horses (Section II and III) can compete in AQHA.UK shows, WES Shows and open competition. If you are in need of further advice on show eligibility, please see contacts page.
When viewing a horse, make sure you can catch it, groom it, handle its feet and tack it up before trying it for riding suitability. Reputable vendors should not refuse to allow you to do this. If you are a novice or inexperienced person, try to take a knowledgeable person with you.

Ask to see the horses papers and check that the transfer records are up to date and show the correct current owner. If in doubt this can be verified by checking with the office registration database.
