2009 AQHA.UK STALLION SERVICE AUCTION

TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

All potential bidders are to contact stallion owners before bidding and to become familiar with the breeding contract, terms and expenses involved with the stallion services on which they bid, and to have their mare approved. The stallion owner has the right to refuse any mare which has not been approved or does not conform to his/hers standards. The AQHA UK does not assume any liability for any disputes that may arise between the bidder and the stallion owner.

1. The stallion services offered in this auction are intended for the 2009 breeding season only.

2. Bids for the stallion service fee shall be made by on-line bidding only. The minimum bid will be indicated on the website for each of the stallions.

3. The bidding will close at midnight March 15, 2009 and the winners will be contacted.

4. A bidder may bid on any number of stallion services.

5. Bids are binding and may not be retracted once submitted.

6. The winning bidder must be the owner or lessee of the mare, and that the mare must be approved by the stallion owner prior to submitting the bid.

7. The buyer agrees that the mare must meet the stallion owner’s approval and that the mare will conform to all health requirements, as well as conform to the stallion owners standards.

8. Should a stallion die or become unfit for service prior to breeding the buyer’s mare, it is the stallion owner’s responsibility to contact the buyer and /or auction representative.

9. The winning bidder agrees to abide by the terms of the stallion owners contract for that stallion.

10. The stallion service fee is non-refundable except in the event that the stallion dies before servicing the mare. Refunds of the stallion service fee are not to be awarded by AQHA UK in the event that a mare does not conceive, or if the mare does conceive and absorbs, aborts, or the resulting foal dies or becomes ill. For any of these issues or concerns, please consult the stallion owner specifics of contracts.

11. The winning bidder must send a cheque to the following address and made payable to AQHA UK within 10 days of the close of the auction. If payment is not received within this period, the service will be offered to the next highest bidder. Winning bid cheques must be made payable to 'AQHA UK Youth Group' and sent to:Stallion Service Auction, c/o Christy Leach, 17A Hill Avenue, Hazlemere, Buckinghamshire HP15 7JX.
