Here at AQHA-UK we realise the
importance of local links & contacts – enter our team of
regional coordinators. We want these folk to be the link between
council and members., providing you with a source of information and
advice and a local contact. Remember these folk are volunteers and
are offering to give up some of their time to be available to you to
provide information, a point of contact, and hopefully some local
activities, be it rides, clinics, get togethers, fund raisers. They
will appreciate your offers of help and are waiting for their phones
to ring, their emails to buzz!! It can be frustrating to offer to
do something and get no response- so don’t leave them with nothing
to do !! (I will probably get phone calls now telling me they are
too busy – wouldn’t that be great !) We are hoping for some
great ideas to get members involved and active in their association
and in promoting the quarter horse- the most versatile of breeds!!
If anyone is interested in becoming a
regional co-ordinator please read the 'terms of reference' and then if you are still interested contact me

New members of AQHA-UK receive an excellent 'starter pack', full of useful information about the breed and the Association. Perhaps you, too, will join the growing number of people who discover the pleasures and rewards of owning an American Quarter Horse!
