2009 Celebration: EUR 33,000 in three Disciplines

EUR 10,000,-- Hunter under Saddle – EUR 5,000 Longe Line!

Only one more week until the 2009 Celebration. The show celebrating the three disciplines Western Pleasure, Hunter under Saddle and Longe Line offers EUR 33,000 this year. In Western Pleasure and Hunter under Saddle, only horses can be nominated that have never been shown under the saddle before. The longe line for 2-year-old horses is added this year for the first time. The show is scheduled for July 10 and 11 and is part of the Bavarian Summer Show at Kreuth (Germany). The event attracting horses from Germany, Italy, Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, The Netherlands and the U.S.A. , is judged by  three international NSBA judges: Ruth Ellen (USA), Jan Boogaerts (BEL) and Pierre Ouellet (ITA). The go round of the Pleasure Celebration is scheduled for Friday, July 10, the final following on Saturday, July 11. The Hunter and Longe Line Celebration will also be on Saturday. The  Draw Party powered by Frozen Partners is scheduled for Thursday night.

18 horses were nominated to the Pleasure Celebration which offers a total purse of EUR 18,000. In the horses’ pedigrees you fill find renowned sires like Blazing Hot, Radical Revolution, Dont Dress Me and Potential Asset.

There are equally top horses in the EUR 10,000 Hunter under Saddle. One of the horses will compete both in Western Pleasure and Hunter under Saddle: My Final Say, an American Quarter Horse gelding by Designed In The Dark out of My Final Notice, owned by Guenter Poeck, Austria. The horse is shown by Johanna Grabner

25 horses in the Longe Line

There are 25 horses in the first Longe Line Celebration which offers EUR 5000 – more than was offered in any other European Longe line.

Besides the purse, there are a number of attractive prizes like a  Blue Ribbon Sattel saddle powered by Blue Ribbon Tack (Distributor Jagfeld/Bingel) (www.blueribbontack.com). The  Longe Line Champion will receive a beautiful piece of jewellery created by Stefano Giacomazzi, the Hunter Celebration Champion will get a Hunter saddle sponsored by Art & Light. The best Amateur in Hunter under Saddle will get a voucher of EUR 500,-- , the best Amateur in Longe Line will receive a voucher of EUR 250,--, both sponsored by Kebo (http://www.kebo-nederland.nl/). The best mare of the Pleasure Celebration wins a breeding to A NEW PERSPECTIVE, sponsored by Karin Prevedel. The best Amateur competitor gets a one week stay including breakfast and dinner in the  Wellness Sporthotel St. Martin in  Pustertal (low season). In the Western Pleasure, The Italian Quarter Horse Association (AIQH) offers free box stalls at the EUR 10,000.- Mario Palma Futurity in Verolanuova for the two best non-Italian horses.

Like last year there will be a lottery for two breedings – one to Radical Revolution (sponsored by Marc Sacre) and one to Dont Dress Me (sponsored by Casanova Quarter Horses).

Radical Revolution is by  World Champion and Multiple World Champion Sire Radical Rodder out of Zippos Desert Rose (by Zippo Pine Bar). The stallion was Futurity Champion and Res. Congress Champion at the 2000  3-year-old Snaffle Bit Derby, Reserve World Champion Junior Western Pleasure and Tom Powers Triple Challenge Champion 2001 and World Champion Senior Western Pleasure. Dont Dress Me (by Sont Skip It) was e.g. Italian and European Champion. The lottery tickets are sold at the show. The lottery will be during the Celebration final on Saturday night.
