Championship Reining for Senior, Junior and Young Riders at Kreuth, Germany:
These are the
Qualification Criteria
October 7-11, 2009, Kreuth (Oberpfalz)
The 2009 European Championship Reining is
scheduled for October 7 to 11, 2009 at the beautiful Kreuth facility (about one
driving hour from Nuremberg). These are the qualification
criteria:
1. Qualification
period: Start: 1 January 2008
End:
TBC - Date of nominated entries, 2009
2. Minimum
qualification criteria:
• Seniors:
To be eligible to compete either as a member of a team or as an individual
at the 2009 FEI European Reining Championships, a rider must achieve a minimum
average score of 68 at two different CRIs during the qualification
period
• Junior/Young
Riders: No minimum qualification criteria have been set for the 2009 FEI
European Reining Championships. National Federations are responsible for the
selection of their Junior and Young Riders.
3. Teams:
An NF wishing to send Teams to the 2009 FEI European Reining Championships
must have organised at least two CRI events within their country during the
qualification period.
4. Individuals: An NF which does not have the minimum of 3 riders for the team competition qualified as per above may still send 1 or 2 individual riders who have achieved the minimum qualification criteria as stated above. Wild cards may be allocated to extra riders belonging to National Federations where Reining is not yet established if the FEI Reining Committee is of the opinion that the riders are deserving of such wild cards and taking fairness and development of the sport into account. Minimum qualification criteria as above.
