First CRI and first Lawson Bronze Trophy of the year

Bremen, AWD Dome, February 20 to 21, 2009

The 2009 western show season will start at Bremen on February 20 and 21, 2009 with the 22nd International Western Horse Show at the AWD Dome. Besides the double-pointed AQHA / DQHA show, the EUR 25,000 event offers the first CRI** of the year with a purse of EUR 4000.-. Also, there will be the first NRHA Lawson Bronze Trophy offering USD 5000,- in the Open and another USD 2000,-- in the Non Pro 2000,--. Visitors of the 2008 show will certainly remember this trophy that was won by Rudi Kronsteiner and LIL RUF CODY . The Austrian also placed second and third astride SEVENTH IRON respectively LIL DRY PEPPY.

The CRI is scheduled for Friday afternonn, the Bronze Trophy for Saturday night during the traditional “Western Night”. Other highlights of this show which is unique in Germany due to its combination of top class western riding and dressage / jumping, include NSBA International approved classes as well as a USD 2000,-- NCHA cutting.

The judges are Patti Carter (CAN) and Maik Bartmann (GER). Deadline of nomination is January 20, 2009.

On Friday night at 8 p.m., there will be an After-Show-Party at the “Beck`Stage” directly at the AWD Dome with DJ Shabba Heinz.
