2009 AQHA UK Year End Awards Print E-mail
AQHA UK are pleased to announce the following horses and riders as AQHA UK Year End Champions for 2009.

  • AQHA-UK High-Point Champion awards are based on a point system which rewards horses for consistently placing in the top nine in every class throughout the year; this differs from the point system used by the AQHA in the U.S., and therefore the year-end high-point awards presented by the two organisations for the same class may differ on a few occasions.

  • In order to be eligible for the High-Point Champion award in All-Around, a minimum of 3 different categories must be competed in (including Halter/Showmanship) and a minimum of 20 points must be gained in each category.

  • Both the owner and exhibitor of a horse must be members of AQHA-UK at the time of participating in classes for any points earned in those classes to be counted toward year-end awards, and horses must also be registered with AQHA-UK.

Our Thanks to Terrie Heid-Brazier who diligently compiles these results from all AQHA shows held in the UK.

Prizes will be presented at the AQHA UK AGM in 2010.
