British Owner Rosanne Sternberg becomes a Millon Dollar Owner... |

It has just been announced that Rosanne Sternberg of Sterling Quarter Horses, the owner of such famous horses as Nijomi Sonny Reb, Smart Spook and Tinsel Nic has become a Million Dollar
owner..... there are only 4 others in this elite group, Lance Griffin
(Canada), Arcese Quarter Horses (Italy and USA) and Tim McQuay
(Texas)
They verbally announced it at the NRHA Derby, but the written
announcement has appeared on the NRHA Reiner Online website....
"NRHA
would also like to congratulate several history-makers at the 2010 Derby.
Rosanne Sternberg of the United Kingdom earned NRHA Million Dollar Owner status
when Brad Giesbrecht rode her Shiners Chic (Smart Chic Olena x Ebony Shines) and
Plum Tinseled (Tinsel Nic x Jays Sugarplum) in the Level 4 and 3 Open
finals."

AQHA UK's Photograher Wins Acclaim |

 Nathan Haynes, the
UK's foremost Western Equestrian photographer and official photographer for AQHA UK is celebrating tonight after
receiving critical acclaim in the American Horse Publications awards
contest.
Nathan's photo of the
British Reining Teams' Trot Up at the FEI European Reining Championships got an
Honourable Mention amongst the final 19 entries (apart from 1st - 3rd only 2
photos were given honourable mentions)!
Up against Adam Jahiel, Mark Hall, Ros Hecox
(Chief Editor of Western Horseman) and Anne Eberhardt (Chief Photographer of
Blood Horse), Nathan's photo was described by the judges as:
'Intriguing; everyone, including horse, is
looking off frame. Various colors add interest'.
Western Horse UK (who entered Nathan's
photo) is the only European horse magazine recognised at the
awards and was also awarded an Honourable Mention in the General Excellence
category.
Nathan will be attending the East Coast
Quarter Horse Summer Show 25th - 27th June, and the Fenland Quarter Horse Show 30th July - 1st August where you can view and purchase
photos taken during the show as well as from his extensive back
